Points of Interest
Jasper Lake Sand Dunes
Get your feet wet (if you can bare the cold) on this small sand beach right off the highway. Don't expect the sand to be too soft though as it is constantly being packed down and shaped into waves by the flowing Athabasca River.
Miette Hot Springs
See your route notes on the Sulphur Skyline Trail for the details on this perfect post-hike treat.
Food & Drink
Miette Hotsprings Cafe
This small cafe has a surprisingly vast assortment of menu items including soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. However, not many items would pack well so consider bringing your own food for your hike and then stop in here for a snack or lunch afterward.
