Make your way towards Bridge of Orchy on good paths and gaze upon the conical mountain Beinn Dorain.
The scenery, as you leave Tyndrum, is stunning and now that you are getting into your stride you will love the fast-going on the military roads. . Initially you follow the valley to Bridge of Orchy with the magnicicent Beinn Dorain ahead of you and the railway on your right.
From Tyndrum to Bridge of Orchy you will walk along old military roads and alongside The West Highland Railway Line. Walking on the military road in this section can be tough on your knees and feet so take your time and enjoy your magnificent surroundings. There is little shelter for this section make sure you are prepared for all weathers. Carry a waterproof and some sun cream

Sturdy hiking boots, warm clothes and a waterproof/wind-break layer are all required. The weather can change quickly so be sure to take all equipment even if the weather looks okay. A waterproof cover for your rucksack is also useful.
Ensure your phone is fully charged; if you doubt the battery will last throughout the hike, it would be beneficial to bring a power bank.

Re-stock on cash and supplies
Tyndrum is a fairly busy little hub with lots of walkers and drivers stopping on their journeys. You can stock up on snacks and supplies Brodies or the Green Welly. There is also a cash machine at Green Welly's, although they do charge per use. There is also an outdoor equipment section in Green Welly's if you need any midge repellent.
Tyndrum will be your last chance to stock up on cash and supplies until Kinlochleven.
