Tomintoul Spur (Speyside Way)

On this spur the trail ventures into the wild places of the Cairngorms and gives you a real insight into the reality of life in a small highland village. Pass by Glenlivet Distillery, and them onto Tomintoul, said to be the highest village in Scotland.
The following morning you will be transferred back to Ballindalloch to continue your walk along the main route of the Speyside Way.

These maps and routes are designed to be used in conjunction with the map and guidebook provided. We have recently embarked on a conversion initiative to bring the two elements together, and this itinerary will be covered in due course.
In the meantime, using the two elements alongside each other should go a long way to ensure you have a safe, enjoyable and problem free day.
