Built-in 1876 for the Reverend Stow, the Rural Dean of Wensleydale, Stow House is a magnificent Victorian property with truly glorious views. In 2014 the owners (Sarah and Phil) refurbished the house with seven rooms that are named after a piece of art that hangs on the wall.

 

If your overnighting in Stow House be sure to ask them about their cocktail making, as between 6.30pm-7.30pm, they normally shake up some punch-packing favourites from the Savoy Cocktail book which can be served in the bar, dining room or library.
