I’ve always had a passion for travel ever since spending 6 months travelling across the US during my university years. A career in IT followed, during which I was first a loyal customer of Macs Adventure, before becoming a volunteer pathfinding, helping them to document their new trips. I now find myself in the extremely fortunate position of combining my career and my passion as Macs Adventure’s Head of IT, Systems and Pathfinding.
I love working at Macs, and relish the opportunity to be part of the new product development process. I also thoroughly enjoy introducing new people to the pathfinding program and take great pride in seeing their map reading and trip documenting skills develop. Getting to travel to exciting and beautiful places for work is of course an added bonus.
Away from work, you’ll more often than not find me exploring Scotland with friends on my faithful old bike, although my newly rekindled passions of photography and running are currently dominating all of my free time. I’ve also recently returned to live and work in Glasgow and am enjoying rediscovering a city that has changed beyond all recognition since I last lived here.
