Wanaka ist ein Wanderparadies und es gibt unzählige Möglichkeiten. Gipfelstürmer werden die Wanderung auf den Roy‘s Peak, einen der beliebtesten Aussichtsgipfel der Region, lieben. Der Track ist bis Anfang November noch geschlossen (wg. Lammzeit), dann, oder wenn Ihnen der Sinn nach einer kürzeren Wanderung steht, können Sie den schimmernden Diamond Lake und den dazu gehöhrenden Rocky Mountain erwandern.
