Von Nelson fahren Sie in ca. 1,5 Stunden zum Nelson Lakes National Park, eine malerische Berglandschaft mit grünen Wäldern und glitzernden Gletscherseen, eingerahmt von den dramatischen neuseeländischen Alpen. Hier haben Sie zwei Wanderungen zur Auswahl: die kürzere Variante geht durch das dramatische Black Valley, etwas anspruchsvoller ist der Arnaud Range Track, der auf über 1000m aufsteigt und spektakuläre Aussichten parat hat.
