An easy going out and back walk to the historic Hotel Weisshorn along the 'Planetary Way' path.
The walk from St Luc to Hotel Weisshorn follows the 'Planetary Way' which was put together by the near-byFrancoise- Xavier Bagnoud observatory. The trail is a fun and interesting work of art, walk through a scale version of the solar system with each kilometre representing 1 million kilometres in reality. Your destination for the day is the Hotel Weisshorn located at 2,337m. Hotel Weisshorn is a mountain hotel with an interesting history. Once the favoured stomping ground of late 19th century adventurers, enjoy the camaraderie and atmosphere while you tuck into the delicious house speciality- ‘tarte aux myrtilles’. Once suitably refreshed, return to St Luc.

Tignousa Funicular Station
From St Luc, make the short walk to the Tignousa funicular station (about 10 minute walk from your hotel, ask reception for directions) and take the funicular up to Tignousa, where your walk begins. Upon leaving the funicular turn right and follow the signs for the Sentier des Planetes' (planets way). Continue to follow this all the way to Hotel Weisshorn, the hotel is just off the path and cannot be missed! Once you are ready to return to St Luc, do so via the same path.
