Enjoy a lovely walk today, beginning with the impressive panorama of the Commando Memorial, as you make your way to Gairlochy. Follow the Great Glen Way southwest and continue along the canal towpath as it winds its way through stunning countryside above the River Lochy. You’ll enjoy the impressive eight locks of Neptune’s Staircase along the Caledonian Canal shortly before arriving into Fort William resting at the base of Britain’s tallest mountain, Ben Nevis.
