The walk from Winchcombe is a scenic and historically interesting six-mile stretch. As you enter the area of Cleeve Hill Common, you pass Belas Knap, a huge Neolithic burial chamber. If you are overnighting in Cleeve Hill, follow the individual directions from the path to the village in your accommodation list and guidebook.

Ages 67 and 61. There are some steep ascents and particularly a long steep descent through woodland a few hundred yards after Belas Knap long barrow so those who like sticks will need them. After that the gentle climb up to Cleve Hill is very welcome, the views spectaculour.
