Safety information

Watch the short term local weather forecasts. Avoid high altitude hiking when the weather is bad. There are plenty of trails in the valleys, that allow you to reach a village quickly if bad weather sets in.

Tips and hints

En route

The bunker Mooseum - On the trail, near Passeiertals, you can go to the unusual museum on the outskirts of Moos in Passeier. It was opened in 2009. It is unusual in several respects: the building itself, but also its surroundings and, of course, its contents. The museum not only tells the history of the bunker's history but also addresses other topics of particular importance in the Passeier Valley, especially the history and nature of the region. More information at museum.hinterpasseier.it

Passerschluchtweg -  The Passer Gorge is a really impressive natural spectacle. Currently, it was not walkable, but its an ambitious project which is currently being constructed.  At about 6.5 kilometres with a walking time of 2-3 hours along the Torrente Passirio, you can discover the wonderful nature
