A relaxing walk along the River Tay makes for a great introduction to this coast to coast hike.

After collecting a pebble from the banks of the River Tay head north along the banks of the Tay to Luncarty and Stanley. The Tay is the longest river in Scotland and you will get to know it well over the next few days.
