There are two variations of today's walk, a high (this is the route mapped on the macs app) and low level route. Both routes are lovely walks (and do not be misled the lower level route is not much easier), check your book to see which options you would prefer.

Beautiful walk with interesting villages, babbling brooks, waterfalls and super powerful gale force winds! We were blown along from Gunnerside to Reeth. The map on the app is for the high route despite indications that it was the lower route.
