Head into the Ferta valley, cross over the Carhan River and circle the base of Bentee while enjoying spectacular views to the wild Atlantic before arriving at Cahersiveen, principle town of the Skellig Kerry Peninsula.

Alternatively, and not mapped here, you can turn left before reaching Cahersiveen onto a track and follow the path around the base of Bentee Mountain.
