This is a rougher section of more challenging walking with good views and lovely pinewoods between Ballindalloch and Grantown.

An undulating walk with mixed terrain: disused railway tracks, forestery tracks, and paths which can be muddy underfoot. Follow the trail to reach the charming village of Grantown-on-Spey, a lovely spot to while away an afternoon.

Our best day! Loved the different areas that we walked in, such that we didn’t notice the increased distance. Some really beautiful views along the way!
