Points of Interest

Luge Canada

As you drive through the sprawl of Calgary, look to the hillside to see the glimmering luge chutes swerving down the mountain. These were used during the 1988 winter Olympics.

A larger version of Banff, this mountain town rests at the edge of Banff National Park and is a good stop for bathrooms, groceries or lunch en route. The town is known for its extensive Nordic skiing trails and access to outdoor recreation.
