WAYMARKER - TURN OFF to Starbotton

This waymarker is where you can cut into Starbotton and visit their village pub (be sure to check its open to avoid disappointment) - you can return to the path slightly further along to save you doubling back the same way you came in. There is also a Pizzeria in Starbotton (where the path returns back to the Dales Way), however, it's sadly running on limited operating hours due to Covid19 and likely only to be doing food in the evening on weekends.
Alternatively, you can just stay on the Dales Way as The Buck Inn in Buckden is not too much further. There is still an opportunity to drop into Starbotton, If you plan on walking via Buckden Pike memorial on Day 7.
