For those looking to have an evening stroll, then a walk and back to the Bridge Inn, in Grinton will do the trick (around 20 mins each way). On your actual walk from Reeth to Aysgarth, you will pass it again but it will be too early in the day to drop in unfortunately as they do not normally open till mid-day.
A traditional family-run Swaledale hotel of character nestling beneath the towering Fremington Edge and Harkerside. It serves fresh, home-made food all day in its sedate wood-paneled bar with open fire, lounge with sports TV, and two dining rooms.

Opening hours
Opening hours vary year on year and can be seasonal. Pubs may only open on certain days of the week and only for a couple of hours.
Pubs in Yorkshire (especially in small villages) are known to close if they are especially quiet in the afternoons or late in the evening - it's always worth calling ahead and let them know you plan to visit in the afternoon or to simply check they will be open to avoid disappointment on arrival.
