Kingshouse Hotel
As one of Scotland's oldest inns, the Kingshouse Hotel was built at the head of Glencoe on a drovers road for travellers and drovers travelling through Rannoch Moor. For many years it was the meeting point and hub for walkers and travellers.
In recent years, the hotel had fallen into disrepair. In 2019 it re-opened after a full refurbishment programme and is again a hive of activity. Make sure that you stop for a coffee or drink in the walkers bar to meet fellow minded trekkers. If you are staying overnight, enjoy the panoramic views of Glencoe from the bar and restaurant.
