Biking Cape Cod

Explore the bays, beaches and bustling port towns of Cape Cod on two wheels, as you bike along the easy-riding Cape Cod Rail Trail.

Make your way to the prominent port town of Hyannis, for the start of your Cape Cod bicycling adventure. Pick up your bicycle and follow the Cape Cod Rail Trail, riding through traditional Cape Cod neighborhoods, pine forests, and salt marshes, to the charming seaside village of Chatham. Enjoy an ice-cream or relax in the gardens of your charming inn before continuing north to Orleans, the National Seashore and Marconi Beach. Take a swim and head to Provincetown, the northernmost tip of Cape Cod and a colonial settlement dating back to the Mayflower in 1620. Enjoy a morning ride to Race Point Lighthouse and an afternoon exploring the lively streets full of art exhibits, live performances, and specialty shops.
