Moy Bridge makes a good spot to pause for a snack or packed lunch, with some picnic benches and grassy areas to settle down on.
The last surviving of the original bridges over the canal, the steel swing bridge is still operated by hand and is for use by a single farmer whose land was split in two by the canal. The lock keeper turns a capstan to open the south side of the bridge, then cross the canal in a small boat to open the north side.
